It is time to try to explain a bit more about the innovations that we are working with.
At this stage in the process, we want to shout out to the world and show off our amazing products. However we still need to keep some secrets due to intellectual property questions. But let’s give it a try!
Heather – a sitting pad
To say that Heather is a sitting pad feels unworthy. Yes, Heather is a sitting pad, but a sitting pad that is way more than we are used to see in the market today.
In our innovation process, we have had 3 words as our leading stars, to help us with all of our decisions – heat, design and super portable. The best way to describe Heather is probably by explaining what these words means to us.
Heat
It didn’t take long to figure out that isolation wasn’t enough to prevent urethritis. And also, how good does it feel sitting in your car with heat in you seat? Heat can really make all the difference when you have back-pains or you’re on your period.
This is why we put direct heating on our must have list. Take a traditional sitting pad and compare it to your heated carseat. The difference is quite huge. Sure, the sitting pad isolates and you won’t have to get the worst cold from underneath, but it’s not adding any warmth. If you use it in your office or other day to day situations you will probably hardly feel any difference.
Heather on the other hand has direct heating both for your lower back and your bum.
Design
To help women to find a product that they don’t have to feel ashamed for has been our key question since day one. Heather has a beautiful and modern design with Scandinavian lines – more an accessory than your typical health product. You should not have to compromise your image in order to get help with your problems.
We all have different styles and Heather will be available in different design. Weather you love colours or are looking for something more discreet – you will be able to find the Heather that is just for you.
Super portable
Heather is a heated sitting pad that you can use wherever you are and easily bring with you. When folded-up it will bring warmth to your lower back as well as your bum no matter if you choose to sit in your sofa, a chair or a back less barstool.
Since Heather gets its heat from a battery, you never have to care about electrical outlets and will be able to use it wherever and whenever.
My favorite feature is how easy you can fold heather to bring it in your handbag. You can always bring and use your Heather and won’t have to get cold – regardless if you are in a to well airconditioned meeting room, a restaurant or at home in your garden.
Bonus
Heather will also be fitted to use flat as a heated pad in your bed and perhaps even other ways. The future will tell.
